Call for expressions of interest for macroprudential and systemic risk experts

The European Systemic Risk Board (ESRB) has launched a call for expressions of interest to appoint international experts in macroprudential policy and systemic risk as members of its Advisory Scientific Committee (ASC).

Members will be chosen on the basis of their general competence and diverse experience in academic or other fields, in particular small and medium-sized enterprises or trade unions, or as providers or consumers of financial services.

Employees of institutions represented on the ESRB General Board are not eligible to apply.

The successful candidates will be appointed to the ASC for a four-year renewable mandate and will be required to respect the professional secrecy obligations laid down in Article 8 of Regulation (EU) No 1092/2010 and the ESRB rules on confidentiality. They will also be entitled to emoluments and to the reimbursement of expenses related to their participation in the activities of the ASC.

Candidates who are neither appointed to the ASC nor rejected during this selection process will be placed on a reserve list, which will be valid for two years.
