How does the ESRB protect and safeguard your information?
Legal basis – The policy on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of their personal data by the Union institutions and bodies is based on Regulation (EC) No 45/2001. The ESRB processes personal data in accordance with this Regulation.
Data Protection Officer – Within the ESRB, the Data Protection Officer ensures that the provisions of Regulation (EC) No 45/2001 are applied and advises data controllers on fulfilling their obligations (see Article 24 of the Regulation).
The European Data Protection Supervisor acts as an independent supervisory authority for all the Union institutions and bodies (see Articles 41 to 45 of Regulation (EC) No 45/2001).
